Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone here got his/her PR after just a two years diploma program in Canada without any other post secondary certificate without going the PNP route.
I know this is possible but I am only bothered because of the required points going up every time. Did you have any one that got a pr with just a Canadian diploma ? All feedbacks are greatly appreciated.

It's all dependent on points. If you have enough points with just a Canadian diploma to be selected through CEC - then you can certainly do it. Of course to have enough points with just a Canadian diploma, you would need to have past work experience, other education, high language scores, etc. You'd want to make sure you have at least 440 points to have a realistic chance of being selected.

Actually, you'll want to have at least 450 to have a realistic chance of it.

There is no minimum education required, but for CEC you need the Canadian work experience. You could get PR via CIC with only Bachelor's, but again it's a matter of points.

Yes I did but with a good score on the celpip test and 3 years work experience in Canada my points went up to 446 I think.
