Hello I got PPR this week. My son's passport need to renew as it will expire in 6 months time. Do I need to inform cic through web form or I need to renew and straight I can send to stamp.

You can send in the new passport, when you get one.

OR, get the visa on his old passport and get a new passport later on. Valid visa's on old passports are still considered valid visas's.
