Hi All,

I am curious by which method you all received PPR, either via phone call or email.

I am asking because my wife and I both missed calls from the Kingston VO over the last few days and sent emails to Kingston VO asking them to please calls us back without a response as of late.

Just don't understand why they need to call at all as email is the best way to correspond and both my wife and I work with email all day.

Just wish they would call us again or at least answer our email.

Would appreciate it if all who see this post can give me an idea of whether they got a call or email for PPR and what exactly did the VO say in their correspondence.

Honestly I really hope this is nothing bad, this process and the long wait has been stressful enough.

Thank you all in advance.

They are probably looking to either make sure you actually live where you live or to ask for more information. They do not call for PPR. E-mail yes, but not calling.

I guess you didn't hear from Kingston today? :'( I'm sure it is very frustrating for you that they are not responding to your emails. Try not to worry, they are going to either call you back, email you, or send you a letter...hopefully sooner than later. Hang in there! (((BIG HUG)))

Hey Parker! How are you?

Kingston is one visa office that does in fact call for PPR believe it or not! There is no consistency with them, they call, email or send a letter so we just never know what to expect!

Yea they didn't call :'(. This whole process is so long and stressful, just makes you want to go into a large open field and scream to the top of your lungs.

The sad part about it is, you never have any definitiveness about any part of the process. Just trying to get a little bit of hearsay from forums keeps us going.

Nevertheless we will perservere.

Thank you Nevaeha for the encouragement, really appreciate it ;D.

There are numerous amounts of people saying that they received a call from the Kingston VO for their PPR. Still don't understand why they would call though. But I just hope they call back soon.

And yes I live and am still in the sunny Bahamas :D. Guess with the rate at which things are going, I won't see snow anytime soon anyways :-[.

Always here for you! And you're right, this is a very stressful process...right until the bitter end!

There's lots of snow in Canada, it just depends which province you're landing in!

I have heard of people getting their PPR by phone.... never experienced it as I'm still waiting myself. And didn't go through Kingston, detail details.

I'll take -5 and snow over 42 and blistering sun anyday!
