Hi,

I have found a lot of posts regarding PPR and COPR in this forum. However, was not getting an appropriate section to post my question.
Can anyone please advise on the below email I have recently received from CPCO-Final Request wherein my UCI and Application number is mentioned.

Also, I have been asked to send my travel documents through VFS service (India).
Not sure how to proceed with this since my CIC account status is " Your background check is in review).
Additionally, is there any cost involved like landing or stamping fee except $550 & $490 that has already been paid.
Kind of confused as I haven't applied through a consultancy.
I am actually looking for a process flow from PPR to COPR along with the fee (if applicable).

Thanks in advance!

You should follow the email and submit your (and any dependent) passport to VFS.
No other fee except VFS service charge.

Hi,

Its quite easy actually.

1: Find the VFS centre closest to you [ https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html ].
2: Walk-in there with your required documents (ready for visa email printout, passport copies, photos etc) and they'll take care of all the formalities.
3: We were asked to pay a fee (~INR 2000 for a couple) at VFS counters (Cash only) incl courier delivery of passports after stamping.
4: Done.

Don't pay attention to / worry about the "Your background check is in review" - just go ahead and submit your docs. All profile statuses will be updated by them accordingly.

Delivery of the passport with COPR document may take a week or more.

P.S. You would've paid RPRF and other fees already. Nothing else remains to be paid

Also, there is usually a 30 day deadline - so its best you get it done as soon as you can
