Extension depends of visa officer. Some officers extend it others don’t.
I am still waiting for update on my passport stamping. I sent my passport via VFS Bangalore on 19 Dec. online tracker shows being processed at Delhi high commission.
Anyone else submitted their passport from Bangalore VFS?

Hi All,

I sent the Passports and all other documents through USPS on Jan 28, 2019 which was delivered to the Visa Application Center, NY on Jan 30, 2019.

I have not received any further communication from CVAC or VFS and I am getting worried about the whereabouts of my Passports and documents. I tried contacting VFS contact center and they were not able to help me as they do not have any information on 'Permanent Residency' applications.

Has anyone else sent the passports to the NY VAC? Please share your timeline. Thanks

When you say all other documents, which ones are you referring to other than IMM008 and the printed request letter?

Hi Guys, My passport was delivered to HC New Delhi on Dec 10th. but I don't have any update since then. Can anyone advice on how to contact them. I already raised a CSE. but no response yet.

Hi all I got dispatched message an hour ago.
It was technically 15 working days for me.

1st ppr in mail - 5th Dec
Passport submitted at vfs Hyderabad - 20th Dec
2nd ppr letter in cic account - 8th Jan
Passport dispatched message - 15th Jan

I have opted for courier service so I will update once I receive passport.

I hope everyone gets their passport back.
