that's so quick. I sent my PP to VFS Hanoi on Aug 1, received by IRCC Singapore on Aug 5
And still no news so far

SGVO is very slow. I submitted my PP to VFS Chittagong ( Bangladesh ) on 15 July, received by IRCC Singapore on 18 July and no news so far.

Passports Delivered by Canada Post - July 25, 2019 (The package was on transit for four days and got delivered after filing a complaint with Canada Post)

Sent a mail to IRCC for booking landing appointment in Toronto, waiting for a response!

@vsivak I do hope we get an appointment soon. I called IRCC yesterday and asked to book an appointment for me. The Agent said the Ottawa office should contact me within 2-4 weeks with the appointment dates.

@Yaha14 - That's nice. I sent out a mail to ircc.pra-rvpr.ircc@cic.gc.ca with the requested details. Got an automated mail response saying I will hear back in 30 days with information about the appointment dates.

According to Fedex tracking, it was received and signed by someone named R. ROZIDO on August 7th, 2019
Today I called IRCC and was told that they still haven't received my passport.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

It can be in the mailroom. Don’t worry. It takes a month to send your passport back.

Hi Megha! Congratulations to u too. No idea about PR card. Visa officer said it would take 6-8 weeks. But I hear it get processed in 14-21 days . Is there a thread for that we can join??

I am looking for the same but didn't find one . Not able to link our application to check the status

I was thinking of doing the flagpoling at the Thousand Island border in Ontario. I am about to call CBSA to ask them about it. Waiting for the appointment would take forever.

In any case I am sending IRCC an email for an appointment as a backup. If I do the landing first, then I can ask them to cancel my appointment.

When are you going there? Where are you located? I am in Ottawa.

I am temporarily living in Montreal and cant land in Quebec. So thousand Islands is closest to me.

I called CBSA. They said we can land at the Thousand Islands border any day weekday or week end 24/7 for PR Flag poling. We are planning to go there this weekend.
