Did you check your application status right now ? Mine got updated at around 500 pm EST.

Yours will defintely be approved in the next week.

Does anyone know if we are supposed to give biometrics at the time of passport submission for COPR? I have submitted my application before 31st December 2018, hence no biometric request before PPR. I am not sure if I have to submit it now. If not, I would like to submit it to VAC by post instead of going there in person.

Please do we need to show our bank stayement/fixed deposit statement (proof of funds) on entry into canada?
I am thinking of spending my proof of funds money.. I dont know if that would cos me any problem wen I do my landing in Canada

Dont think its a good idea to spend your proof of funds before your entry to Canada. If you are not lucky immigration officer may ask you to show proof of funds at port of entry which could be the latest bank statement/fixed deposit statement.

I did too. But not the day it showed approved on GCkey. I got the email the day after it was approved.

My tracker was activated the same day GCkey showed approved, 11 days after docs were received in Ottawa.
