PPR timeline extention

Dear Friends.

I am in a fix. Need urgent help.. We have received PPR mail on 19th July with a passport submission deadline of 30 days. We had submitted our son's passport for renewal on 30th June as it was expiring in Jan2020. We are yet to receive his renewed passport and the process is taking longer than expected. Though police verification is completed.. they have not yet updated the file due to unavailability of some officers.. If we request CIC for an extension for passports submission will they agree and provide an extension?

Can we go ahead and submit Mine and my spouse's passport within the deadline and submit my sons once I receive his renewed passport?

I am extremely tensed and dunno what to do? has anyone been in similar situation? Please help w=how to go about ?

I think in the letter or email, they should have information regarding an email they provided to contact them when you have any issue. Dud they not provide it?

Hi,

I am in similar situation .. Got PPR today but my passport is expiring within 4 months. Indian consulate had suspended passport renewal until Nov 2nd as they are switching the vendor. So, I am already losing 3 weeks and wondering the possible solution for this.
Once you got the new passport, how did you proceed with that as your application doesn't have new passport info.
