Due to small number of ITAs during April to August, I expect faster PPR for recent AORs. Let us discuss this topic.

As far as i remember CIC suffers from constant backlog... so not sure if what you say is the case.

Currently it seems ~20 PPR per day being issued.... I may be wrong.

It would be way greater than ~2 per day @Hope16. Because with ~1500 ITA's issued in April, if only 20 PPRs issued a day.. it would result in Just April AORs take 1500/20 = ~75 days

Regarding the speedy processing, I believe IRCC has a catched up some speed in the month of Sept. Wish this continues and all the applicants sitting with timeline greater than 6 months get their PPR very soon

I think that there were smaller number of ITA because CIC is probably already overwhelmed. Applicants should expect their PPR between 5 and 6 months after AOR; even though there are always exceptions !

CIC unpredictable they keep on changing their strategy to issue PPR...it was exact 6 months from AOR date but slowly dying down. :'(

I have no clue how many PPRs are issued daily but I do agree that processing times seems to sped up a bit in recent weeks. Hopefully theverything trend continues for those of us that are waiting

PPR timeline was much faster in 2015. Several people got in 3-4 months. BTW do we have any estimate for the average timeline between 1st BG in progress to PPR?
