PPR Request - Retake Medical

Hi All,

We got email for Passport Request and same has been sent on time and since medical test validation expiry date ( previous one) was very near , NDVO concerned had asked us to go for medical again according to our input.

Second medical test has completed and resend the passport again to NDVO via VFS.

Now NDVO concerned is on hold our passport and they may may send back again the passport because medical result update is pending from panel physician.

For physician, they need 5 working days to upload data to IRCC.

The clarification is , We are not sure how long will it take medical to clear or pass and update the status as medical passed ?

Does anyone have an idea ? Please let us know.

If the IRCC/NDVO asked you to get new medical assessments done then they'll wait for the results to be uploaded by your doctor(s).
It might take a few weeks for NDVO to review/clear your medical again and issue your PR (provided that your medical results are all clear), but you should be fine.

We got our PR and we want to move soon , early next year Jan 2019.

@bmr, When did you receive PPR? I am in a similar situation. Does NDVO call twice to check for confirmation? NDVO person called me and said they will call again next day but didn't call yet. Please let me know. Thanks.

NDVO called twice .... in our case ... we already in Canada... Please be patient ...
