PPR request email - question

Last week I received the golden email requesting our passports to finalize the immigration process. I have a question about this final step: my wife and my daughter are currently in the process of becoming German citizens. My daughter has already given up her current nationality (and passport) and my wife is waiting for her renunciation confirmation to finalize this process. Since I'm the principal applicant, I was wondering whether I can submit (initially) only my passport in order to get my Canadian residence permit without further delays. The problem is that I have only 30 days to submit the passports and I'm sure that within this time window they will not receive their new German documents. According to the email I got, it says: "Please provide your passport or travel document and a passport or travel document for each accompanying family member. An accompanying family member must have his or her own passport or travel document."

I suppose you can try and email your VO asking for an extension?

Thank you upperkut for your reply! ..yes, I have already contacted them and I'm still waiting! From my experience, it would take more than a month to hear back from them!

In my case: I had to submit two photos as per PR specifications. A confirmation of my mailing address and proof of RPRF payment
