Hi all,

My background check went to "in progress"
For the second time on Jan 19th this year .

However I am still waiting for ppr to come ...is there any reason for worry ? ....have applied from within Canada.

Any shares of your exp or knowledge re this would be highly appreciated . Thanks much in advance

Do check spam folder of your email account because sometimes they send ppr via email without any change in my CIC account status

If you are PNP Inland (Not CEC) this looks like normal. It used to be a few days after 2nd BK IP for PPR, now it is taking 1-5 to 2 months.

@kk1988 ....thanks for telling me that but it's the same result ..no mails ..but at least I know for sure now thanks to you ....

And yes it's PNP category ...from Pei province...

I see , may I ask the source of your info ? ...that is to say if it is from personal experience or you are an immigration expert ? ....don't get me wrong ...just trying to gauge whether it's one case or a trend as a whole ......if it's the latter must be due to the drastic increase in ita's since I applied (when it was still low).
Thanks much for this info ! Much appreciated

You will notice that if you check the AOR topics by month for 2016 and compare with 2015. It seems to be a trend, CEC in 3-4 months, PNP in 6-7 and FSW in between. Talking about inland only. It might be a good time to request GCMS depending on your timeline.

I see ..thanks a lot for all the info...sorry what is GCMS ? ...
I submitted my application Oct 10 last year ...about 4 months 10 days hence.
