Hi,

I have received "Ready for Visa Letter email (PPR Request)" on Thursday. ECAS changed to Decision Made today.

But I need to travel outside of Canada on May 10 for my cousins wedding so I will send my passport on May 18 that is exactly a month. In the email it says you have 60 days to submit it but also at the end it says send us your passport as soon as possible due to expiry date on COPR.

If I send my passport after the trip will there be any risk of getting denied may be officer changes his mind??

I am really worried & confused on what to do.

Anybody been through the same situation or is there any step I can take??

you have 60 days from the date on your ppr, your copr will have a date based on your medical (about a year from your medicals), make your travel and send your passport as soon as you come back

Thank you JORGER. But if I delay it will there be any mind change of officer or overlook from their supervisor??

Just send an email to inform them u r planning to travel and the date that you will be back and send your passport...I have gone through the same situation I sent out my passport 3 weeks after I received my ppr email because i went back to home country. And got my passport back within one week...it wouldn't be a problem even if u dun tell them. But I just inform cic anyway before I left Canada in Feb. You have 60 calendar days to send your passport to cic...

No. All they care about is 60 days. 0 days and 59 days are the exact same thing from the officer's perspective.

No, you will not have any problem at all
