Hi I had the same situation. and i got VO changed to London by maliing to NDVO on the email address mentioned in PPR. After few days i also mailed to NDVO on a different address delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca. And after 9 days i got mail from london VO to submit the passport. So except this nothing needs to be done.

Hope this helps
Thanks for sharing the email ID prab! I actually called both the VFS offices in Sydney today (India-Australia & Australia-Canada). Both confirmed that they are not allowed to send my passport to India from here because it a triangle country kind of situation - Australia, India & Canada - and they have different jurisdiction rules. So, left with no choice but to request for a VO change coz I don't want to courier my passport without a proper authorized medium. I'll be raising a CSE and sending an email to NDVO and then pray for an early response :D Cheers mate!

Hi

I received PPR today and strangely my VO is New Delhi which is also my primary office, this is as per my nationality.

I was expecting VO to be Ankara, Turkey as per my country of residence.

PPR request is asking me to contact VFS India and send the passport to New Delhi but I want to get this changed to Ankara and use VFS in Azerbaijan.

Please can you guide me how I can get my visa office changed?

Do I need to contact New Delhi since this is my primary office or should I contact CPC - Ottawa as first instance?

Please advice.

Thanks.

Hi Bram

Congratulations on your PPR. Could you please tell me how long did the CIC give you to submit the passport?

In all cases it is 30 days from date of PPR letter but if there is a VO change and new PPR letter issued then 30 days will start again.

Thanks Prab,

I have sent an email to DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. I have got an auto reply back from them so I am hoping they will reply to me as well in similar time frame as yours. If I don't receive an email in 10 days then I will email again using email address you mentioned.

I emailed CPC-Ottawa and they replied back I can send my passport there if I plan to be in Canada soon.

Yeah, I know it's instructed in the PPR letter, but I want to be doubly sure. :p

Thanks Artray :)

Update for all - I received a email from CPC - Ottawa today saying to contact local VO directly since my file is outside Canada they will not be able to do any changes.

So the short answer is to contact your primary office for VO change instead of CPC - Ottawa.

Good luck to all.
