Thanks,

you screwed up, you need name, DOB and studio stamp with date of photo taken and address of studio..More likely once they reach your application they will ask you to send a new copy after you get your passport back...pretty sure i read that in another thread...Like why didnt you see the photo specifications in your letter??

I just got my photos done today, sending it too embassy soon so I am sure on all this..

If you just sent them, send some more but stamped. They will arrive a day later

Guys,
I think it's not mandatory to put a stamp.
You may handwrite the information as well.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

*The back of one (1) photograph must:
  • bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio
  • bear the date the photograph was taken
  • the photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.
Regards,
Aditya

Guys!

I had the similar issue where I forgot to mention my name on the photograph. Since there was studio stump mentioned on it, mine got accepted. I received my Visa today. Though it had been a tense week for me.

Excitement sometimes leads to a big time trouble so make sure you read all the instructions carefully.

Best of luck!!!

A colleague of mine forgot to get his photos stamped and still got COPR. If they want them stamped, they will more than likely return them for you to have them stamped and then you can send them in again.

It's no big deal really.
