1ST STAGE - SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION STATUS
"DATE APPLIED": 19-Dec-08
AOR: 4-Apr-12
"SPONSOR APP E-CAS STATUS": DECISION MADE
"SPONSOR APP DECISION": APPROVED

2ND STAGE- PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION PROGRESS AND STATUS DETAILS
"MEDICAL DONE": 15-July12 (But till today not update on cic.gc.ca online service)
Police Clearances Certificate send in Jun-12
Request for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate): 20-Oct-12 (received this request from CPP-O)
CSQ Send: 10-Nov-12

on online (E-CAS STATUS) showing only in "Permanent Residence" : We received "Parent's Name" your application for permanent residence on December 19, 2008.

Please help me to guess:
1) When I will able to see "In Process" on the E-CAS STATUS.
2) When I will able to see "Medical Result received" on the E-CAS STATUS.
3) When they will ask for PPR for my parents.
4) What is their LVO, is it LA, California or CPP-O? (application was sent to Buffalo New York).

I am in the same boat as you were in, I received PPR letter receive date on Feb 6th, 2013 and i mailed my passport alongwith my familys on Feb 22nd via courier, I am based here in Chicago, US and sent the passports via FedEx to CPP-Ottawa, Now its been almost 2 weeks and i havent received my passports back. Now i am woried since i am in Foreign country (USA) and i am here without passports. Also they mentioned in their email to send return envelope canada Xpress post for applicants based in Canada. However since i am based in US i couldnt send the return envelope, will that be OK??
The big issue is i cant dial their Call center number from US, eventhough i use International calling card, not sure if that number really works or it works from Canada only. I would appreciate your guidence and experiance on this.

the toll free number works from canada only, it takes 4-6 weeks for them to return the passports

We didn't have to send in our passports, copies were fine. Wondering how long it takes to receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence letter after a decision is made on our file?

hey guyz m new here need some views about my case it will b so helpful to me
my brother sponserd to my parents and me as dependent i was 18 year old when case was filed in 2008
we have done with medicals in 6 November 2012 and then when my brother enquire about our case in September 2013 bcoz medical was about to expire on 6 November 2013 so they said your Immigration officer filed extention request on your medical for 3 months and then they sent PPR request on date 31 oct 2013
we havent sent our passports yet just bcoz of delays in fedex courier its still in flight as track showing well we will b able to send like in 4 days i want to ask they said all the Applicant(s) are approved For Permanent Residence and You are required to submit your passport(s), photographs along with a copy of this letter by MAIL within the next THIRTY (30) days from the date of this letter. As the validity of your visa(s) has been already established and is limited to a fixed date, it CANNOT be extended under any circumstances. We therefore urge you to read and follow carefully the instructions below without delay:

so is this the end of case ?
is there any chance they can refuse anyone visa ?
how long it will take to give our passports with visa back once they got our passports?

need quick reponse please and i will b more thankful if you add something more informative about it
