Hi

Thought of starting this new thread to benefit from the experience of those who got PPR is less than 3 months. Please share with us your timeline. Inland/outland? Category? Is there anything that is unique for your case? Every story is important to us here. At least you will give hope to many!!

My application was finalized within about a month and I received COPR about another month after that but I think the Christmas holidays slowed it down a bit in my case.

From what I can tell, my application was processed by my local VO in Vienna, which helped to get it done faster. Paid all fees upfront, had medical done before ITA and included all documents right away so nothing needed to be requested after AOR.

Received Schedule A request to verify personal history but that was it.

My personal opinion is that processing VO matters and having all documentation included right away so requests cannot delay the processing help. And then there is always just the fact that some get lucky and just end up with a more motivated officer that seems to keep the file moving along, whereas others seem to be simply put aside and ignored for months.

That has been my impression based on people's comments here.

I agree with you, the VO is all that matters when it comes to processing time. Mine unfortunately is Sao Paulo VO (Brazil) - not only we are flooded with political corruption, but also with slow processes in general.

I think thats a really good point and we can see the same issue later on, when it comes to having the actual COPR document issued after PPR. Some VO only take a few days or a week to issue the document and others take a month or more.

It is really unfortunate that there isnt more consistency between the different VO offices.
