PPR delays due to covid-19

Mine is not recent but I can share my remed details with u. I did my remeds on 22nd march . It got passed and updated in my account on 30th of march. I guess u should wait couple of days .
Asking for a friend please help

No pre arrival
No update

Juat wanted to ask on her behalf
If pre arrival is not sent with remedical which is the Normal practise of lvo are their chances of refusal or remedical is only sent if the officer is satisfied with the documents
She is getting mixed views from everywhere
And also how much time more of waiting does it look like ??

I have done remedical.feb2021.and it passed.out land .since then no update.my question is why do they send 2nd medical request and after that keep quite no update.1st medical was passed oct2019. So what is the next.25 months gone
It is likely going to end only when Canada will reopen the border with your country of residence. They expect to start doing that during or after the summer.
Just wondering what to do if my passport expires in Jan 2022 and I haven’t received the PPR. Should I apply for a new one now and notify IRCC? Or I should do so after I receive the PPR. It depends on how quickly you will be able to renew it. In general is a good idea to have always at least 3 months of validity. Definitely do not wait for after PPR, because if you renew it after PPR and before landing they would need to issue PPR again.

NO haven't received anything. My file is moving very slowly. In fact when I called , after over a month of medical passed , the agent told me that my criminality and security has not started. This status , of my application is same since nov 2020. Wonder why they asked for re- medicals when nothing was to be done with file.
