Yesterday I've got remed request after extention of 6 months still 2 months remaining of medical validity.
AOR 3RD OCTOBER
OFFICE : SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA.

I hope so, AOR is 3rd October 19, SINP,
Visa office : Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Medical extended on 14th September 2020 and valid till March 2021.
Country of residence is INDIA.

Congrats on the PPR. can you clarify how having a Canadian citizen relative help you get exempted? Also, what kind of exemption is this?

It's on CIC website. Having an immediate relative allows you to enter the country after filling out some forms

File moved to Etobicoke in mid May. My Background was done June 12. My wife's background was pending her bio metrics. Which was done on December 10. I just got an email that there is a message waiting for me in portal. I checked and got PPR. It instructed me to send my passport to CPC-Ottawa.

Hey..have you heard of someone who got the PPR after remedical recently ?

I got re-medical last month ..passed it as well , but no update since then.

I'd like to know as well. it seems like getting re-med requests a few months before their medical expiry is a sure sign that PPR is coming whereas medicals extension/re-medicals that are after expiry is less certain? Anyone here had medicals expire, renewed then subsequently gotten PPR shortly afterwards?

yeah since my last medical had passed on Feb 10 2020, I assumed I have time.
But I got re-medical on Jan 6th 2021.
I hardly understand what they are upto right now .

“You application status has changes” but no changes in my profile. It’s my first time to get this update as usually it’s “your application has been updated”. Thoughts?

Remedicals requested: December 30 2020
Remedicals done: Jan 16th 2021
Clinic submitted file with medical exams results to IRCC: Jan 25th 2021
Medical test passed on Jan 27th 2021

All updated on the IRCC system, just waiting for the PPR now.. Is there any additional docs they can request for after remeds?
