Hi, I am applying with my wife together under CEC, however, she is not in Canada. I am curious about how IRCC finalizing such cases for PPR or CoPR? Would really appreciate it if someone who is in such case to share the experience. Thanks!

You have to land first. They will then issue a PPR/COPR for her. Your instructions letter will explain this.

Thanks, I know this is the normal procedure for CEC. Just wondering how this procedure goes at the current COVID19 pandemic. I saw many in-land CEC applicants received an email letter to confirm their PR status and jumped the landing procedure, but I suppose that they either don't have a spouse or their spouse is also in Canada.

The inland applications skipping COPR and PPR is definitely the case due to COVID, but a spouse outside of Canada still needs a visa and a COPR to come to Canada.
