Hello everyone! I am really confused now so anyone can help? :'(
Thanks in advance!!!!
I am back to Hong Kong after handing in my CEC application in EE,
and then I have sent an e-mail + filled in the online form to inform CIC my address change.
Then, I received PPR in August, however requesting me to send my passport copies (only amendment pages) + photos inside Canada by the Xpress post. The address on the letter was still the old one, obviously they did not revise my address at all. So I asked my friend in Canada posting the passport copies + photos for me by Xpress post, and at the meantime tried every way to contact the local visa office in HK & CIC about my address change.
2 weeks later I received another PPR! This time they requested me to send my passport copies of every single page + 2 photos to CIC-OTTAWA (again?!). The most confusing part is, they also requested me to send my original passport to the local visa office in Hong Kong but asked me to leave 2 blank pages for visa documentation. The letter however stated that "The total number of passports you are required to submit is ____ ." (They did not write down any number, just a blank line). In the other part of the letter meanwhile saying that I don't need to send my passport if I don't need a visa to enter Canada. So, I need or need NOT to send my passport afterall? I am so confused.
As far as I know, Hong Kong is visa exempt so does it mean I don't actually need to send my passport to the local visa office in HK? I just need to send the passport copies + photos to CIC-Ottawa? If that is the case, how am I going to receive my COPR? Or I should still send my passport to the local visa office even though I don't need to send my passport to CIC-Ottawa?
I am really confused by these 2 letters. Could anyone give me some advice?
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
