I would say, raise a CSE......But what is the maximum timeline they have asked you to submit Passport?

Never let the timeline expires.

When raising a CSE......Subject should be:

Subject : [URGENT] - E000XXXXXXXXXXX [That is your application No.]

Hopefully you will receive a reply within a day or 2.

Good luck!

Unless you have an urge to travel.....there is nothing wrong with submitting your passports.

The only worse thing is that you let the passport receiving timeline expires....as this makes your visa officer to think otherwise.

The timeline given for passport submission is of 30 days and i actually am waiting for a correction email from NDVO if i suppose the PPR mail is a mistake. I wouldn't let the timeline expire in anyway but sort a wise suggestion. Raise a cse or send my passports or shall i wait

Raise CSE first and wait for 1 week if you hear something otherwise dispatch ur passports to vfs for further processing.

Thanks mate....i think that would be a better option...+1

How can you specify a subject when you raise a CSE! There is no such option!

so what have you and your consultant decided to do?

I dont understand why to raise a query....if they have asked to submit....we should be submitting it.....May be we get medicals in between.....They might keep our passports for a longer period, but doesnt matter to me.

I've heard from posts in the past that sometimes NDVO issues PPR along with MR but in this case you haven't received any MR. Maybe you will get it in a day or two, who knows.

There are couple of concers about it in my mind...
1 i've heard passport is required before medicals, at each and every test, they verify the original passport is with you.
2 The unusual patter. It looks more of a mistake than a deliberate action. Talked to a renowed consultant yesterday and she said the PPR mails might have been wrongly sent instead of sending it to the other deserving ones. It has happened in case of MRs ...so i suppose can happen for PPR also
