Hi Neela, From everything I have heard and read - asking for VO change will not impact your PR except for a further delay because you have to wait for NDVO to confirm your VO change request. A VFS office will only handle your passport for PR stamping if that VFS office is mentioned in your PPR - in this case only Indian VFS offices are allowed to transfer your passport till you get a new letter confirming your change of VO to Singapore. Two things you can do to request change - email NDVO and lodge a CSE (the email is usually what works, but did both just to be safe). Also, your deadline gets extended by another 30 days from the day your VO change is confirmed and you receive new PPR with new VO. Hope this answers your questionsNeelaR said:Hifi guys! I got PPR on 31st May and NDVO is my visa office. However I have requested the visa stamping to be in Singapore as i cant travel to India right now. Really worried whether asking for VO change at this stage will be a problem!! First of all, will it be approved before the deadline for passport submission?? Please share your experiences and what steps you took for VO change (CSE or email to embassy or any other method?) Many thanks!!
