I just have some questions and concerns about the PPR I just received....

I am thinking about taking my passport in person and submitting it on Thursday between 2-3pm which is the guidelines, then then collect 10 business days later, as per the guidelines again.

However, the vague guidelines also mention that your passport must not be worn! Thats so vague its untrue!

My passport matches all the passport specifications on the PPR, but the front is slightly worn, i,e, the lettering and emblem on the front of UK passport is a little faded etc.

Does anyone have any experience of what London office thinks is worn!

Alternative is to get a new passport done on Tuesday and take this brand new one to London for submitting.

Yet this new passport will have a different passport number to my old one. As my current passport number was in my final submission papers back in december, does this make any difference?

Any help/experiences of submitting passports in person at london office is greatly appreciated!

Thank you ather8888 for your quick reply,

But what do you mean? Don't worry about my passport condition? They are not that strict on that?

Or take both passports with me?

Sorry for me being so slow on what you mean!
