Those who uploaded FBI PCC after AOR, can you share your timeline till PPR?

You just can't upload FBI PCC after AOR, unless you have also uploaded a letter of explanation with your application. If your LoE is on file, CIC will ask you for FBI PCC and give you 60 days to upload it. 60 days has been the recent trend, however, a few applications have also been rejected where the FBI PCC was missing and there was no LoE.

My timeline is as follows:

AOR: Sep 3, 2015 (had LoE for not including FBI PCC)
Request for FBI PCC: October 01, 2015
FBI PCC Uploaded: October 07, 2015
Request for Military Record: January 20, 2016
Uploaded LoE: For no military record, January 20, 2016
BGC in progress: March 03, 2016

Nothing since then. But time lines differ from case to case.

My timeline is:

AOR: October 6
FBI request: October 13
Uploaded: November 6
BG in progress: March 6

Thanks. I am aware of the LOE part. I just wanted to check whether it delays our PPR or not if we upload the PCC in first 2 months of our application. Sometimes, CIC might just be waiting for the PCC to issue PPR (assuming they are done with all other checks). But, we don't have any applicant to confirm that hypothesis yet.

My FBI PCC (post submission of application!) will be delayed by a full four months, thanks to my fingerprints being rejected...not looking forward to this.

Hey, are you getting extension based on that?

I already had a 60 day extension, but now I will need to ask for another one :/

Thats so f***d up ! ..

Those people are really making me regret I stayed so long in the US ..

Hope you get the extension and get all smooth this time.

Did they inform you by mail that they rejected the prints?

Sorry about that. Apparently, one guy requested them to expedite the process for second set of prints (after his partner's print got rejected) and they did revert back with a positive reply. May want to try that. However, I am also trying to email them at liaison@leo.gov but it gets bounced (reason - over quota).

Aragorn165 , Try digital fingerprinting. My wife's first ink fingerprint got rejected by FBI. This is the second one we've applied. We are waiting for the result. It's simply crazy of this guys in FBI, waiting for whole four months and then simply rejecting it. FBI PCC is the biggest hurdle for US applicants.

I decided to email them once my card was charged to check on the status of my request. I guess I anticipated something like this on some level :/

I will definitely try that! I have included a cover letter to this effect with my new request, and I will also send them repeated emails asking them to look into expediting my processing.

I went to a professional fingerprinting agency this time (I did the first set myself). This guy claims to have a 100% track record. We'll see.

There is definitely variation in this. It seems that most people get an additional document request from CIC for the FBI report (if they included a LOE of best effort at the time of submitting their e-APR application). Others, including me, have not received such a request despite having included the LOE. My AOR was Jan 20. So far, no communication at all from CIC. I have no idea why. I have since submitted my FBI report to CIC via CSE (but have not received a response from the CIC customer service team yet).

Regardless, below is the timeline of a 2015 applicant (who did not receive an additional document request from CIC either).

AOR: 30-Apr-15
Sent FBI Report to CIC via CSE: 22-Jun-15
Reply from CIC to CSE: 25-Jun-15
Medical Passed: 25-Jun-15
Background in Progress: 14-Jul-15
Passport Request: 24-Jul-15

My AOR Jan 14th
Medical passed
Uploaded FBI PCC March 22nd
No updates since then
Background check not Started

Is anybody else in the same position, more than a month after PCC upload and no updates?
