I think this topic must have been discussed n number of times. To all those who have already landed in Canada (especially those landed in Vancouver as I am planning to land next month). Need some answers.

1. What would be the cost of living in a month (my family consist of 3 members, myself, my wife, and my 2 year old son)?

2. What would be the average rate for rent of a house/apartment? Not interested in basements and Studio apartments. Other than those?

3. Would buying a car be necessary during the initial stages?

4. What is the current scenario in the job market? Heard that it is not easy to get a job.

Might pop up with few more questions once I again start thinking on that matter. But please, suggestions and thoughts are highly appreciated. Thanks. :D

You heard it right.
