Hi Friends ,

I got a message to submit my passports.

My wife is pregnant and expecting in next 15 days. We had mentioned the same in our Medicals.

What action do I need to take to inform about her pregnancy and proceed ??

Will we get or passports stamped now and add the new born latter on ?

Please advise.

Regards,
Kopal

Dear Asivad ,

Please advise.

First of all double congrats for the baby and the ppr.
I am no Asivad and don't aspire to be one. But here are my 2¢
Technically you do not have to inform anything until the baby is born. So I would treat this as if your wife is not due in 15 days and proceed with sending the pp to the vo.
Once the baby is born, please get his birth certificate and passport ready ASAP. Then follow the due process of add the child to your application.

My child was born after I submitted the application. I am still awaiting the PPR, so my case is not exactly same as yours.
I emailed my VO (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp) after I received the birth certificate and passport of the baby. Within 2 days I received a message asking to pay the child's processing fees and uploading some documents like birth cert., passport photo copy, proof of medical, IMM0008 etc. They only give you one week to to upload the docs from the day they send the message so it is important to have the docs ready before hand. My MyCIC account was then "re-opened" to allow me to upload the required docs. Hope this helps.

Hi Friends,

I submitted my complete PR application on 30th Nov and after that my wife got pregnant and now expected delivery date in July or August.

I am sure we will get the PR by June and baby will born in July. I want to travel to Canada in the end of this year 2017 ( Nov or Dec. ) with my wife and new born baby

I have some doubts -

1. How will i add my new born baby to my exist PR application after that ?
2- what is the process for this and how much time it takes and what are the additional documents required for this?
2- Do i need to inform CIC for my wife pregnancy during PR Process or after baby is born ?

Please advise. Could you please share experience.

Thank You.
