Postpone Oath - any confirmations?

Hi everyone,

I received my Oath Ceremony invitation last week and asked me to take my oath next week. Due to family emergency, I have to postpone my oath, and I sent them an email request as instructed; however, I haven't received any confirmation email/notification regarding recheduling the oath and my ceremony is coming up less than a week( I also checked my status tracker and nothing has been changed).

I am wondering:
1. if I am exepct to receive a confirmation to reschedule my ceremony?
2. can I go ahead and skip the ceremony if I don't receive the confirmation until my schedule ceremony date?

Not all receive confirmation on every request to cic.
Yes go ahead and skip. Its normal for cic from many candidates postponing oath or missing oath.
You dont need to wait for their response.
Tracker might not change till after oath date.
