Postive ITA Assesssment

I have received positive assessment from I.T.A. as Machinist but it is stating that i have to clear written exam with in 12 months to get certified. Now can i lodge my file long with this letter from I.T.A. for PR and clear my exam once i reach Canada.

If it is a red seal occupation in the Province where you are going, then you need to pass the exam, before a visa would be issued.

have an offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least one year** or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a provincial or territorial body.***

** In Canada, only the provinces and territories can issue certificates of qualification in the skilled trades. To get this certificate, the provincial or territorial trades authority must assess your training, trade experience and skills to decide if you are eligible to write an exam to be certified.

You can't, some people from this forum tried to apply only with this letter and their application was returned. You need to go to Canada, pass the test, return home and apply.
From which province did they give you this answer?
 
Also, I'm not sure if you can take the Red seal test before you obtain CQ.

It's good because BC is one or rare provinces, if not the only one, that allow foreigners to take the test. You must go there on the visitor's visa and that might be a problem because you must have an invitation letter from someone. I don't know if they are going to accept that assesment letter from ITA.
My husband is an electrician, so we have the same problem. We are preparing papers for the assesment now. Did they phone your employers to ask about you? My husband's bosses don't speak any English, so I dom't know how is it going to turn out.
 
PR Expired

My friend Mr. Lally's PR Canada has expired last year i.e. July 2012. Although he visited Canada thrice during that time but due to some personal reasons he had to come back to India along with the Family. He has a Canadian License and his wife had been registered as Nurse in Canada.

Currently his Daughter is studying in India in twin course i.e. 2 years study in India and 01 Year Abroad. She will complete 2 years by July 2014 and then he would like to go Abroad.

Now Question is Can he Appeal for Revival of his PR if Yes Where should he Apply here in Indian Consulate or in Federal court

also by when we can expect decision on his case as his daughter has to go by July Next year for Study.

what is the process for apply Redseal for Alberta..
I have to go their on tourist visa or i have to mention purpose for visit is undertaking exam
