I am a student from India currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. What are the requirements to enrol in a postgraduate diploma/Certificate (Psychology) in Canada and what will be the job opportunities after that?

So why do you need to come to Canada to take a PG Psychology course when you are pursing an MA in clinical psychology. How will you persuade the visa officer that such a course is a level up from an MA and not repeating any part of your current qualifications ? Would this in fact improve your prospects in your home country?

I originally wanted to pursue PhD./PsyD. in clinical psychology but I don’t have the finances for it. So my only option is to get enrolled into a certification course and maybe look for a job.
Will I be able to work as a counselor in Canada with a MA from India?
Please let me know if there are other ways around it.
Thank you.
