I am wondering if I need a work permit visa to be able to come to canada as postdoc. if so, what is the procedure. Also, can my spouse work in Canada under this type of visa? :

Postdoc fellows does not need a LMO (Labor Market Opinion - document from Human Resources and Skills Development Canada authorizing your employer to hire you ) to apply for work permit.

Check your regional Canadian visa office ( Canadian embassy ) website for more information.

I've seen that your spouse can have a work permit linked to yours.
Did you find the postdoc? I'd like to know information about that if someone knows
