Postal strike in Canada

The application intake FCP requested an additional document to complete my application for Permanent Residency (outside Canada). I sent the document by mail because that was the only address provided. Impossible to use courier services at PO Box number.

So, what happens to my document if it`s stuck in the mail? Immigration Canada specifically says Do not sent emails if document already mailed.

I hope the cyclic and rather annoying Canada Post disturbances will not delay my application or worse, cancel it.

Thanks foor any current info on this sad situation. Mike

IRCC has updated their information about the postal strike here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2016-07-06.asp

You can upload a copy of the information via CSE and let them know the original is coming via Canada post.
