Hey St Clair, what are they asking you in the RQ, is that all the standard RQ documentation? Or are they asking you to bring all the documentation at Citizenship hearing?

hmm.. I hope my case doesn't go that route. I had my test at Scarborough and Immigration officer told me Oath will be with in 2 Months. I haven't heard back anything. In my case, I had lot of US trips for Work Related Meetings and shopping trips.

Everyone else in Scarborough office has been receiving oath invite within two weeks of test.

Okay. I am going to start collecting documents to prepare for RQ also.

- I tested on Feb 21, 2013 (at Scarborough) with 1182 physical presence days. As such, I've been in Canada since 2001 (student permit, then work permit, then PR). That is, 13 years!!!

- Officer showed concerns about many US trips I had. I told her that these are day/shopping trips. Trips longer than 24 hours have already been declared as per instructions on the form/residence calculator.

- She let both me and wife go in less than 5 minutes, without checking our passports for any stamps. She took a photocopy of both of our passports (all pages) and said she'll check them for stamps later in the office. Maybe she decided (in her mind) to give us RQ and thought there is no point comparing stamps at this time.

Now it has been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. While other folks seem to be hearing from Scarborough office within 2 weeks of test/interview.

So, I'll start collecting documents for post-test RQ. Here is what I'll collect, please let me know if anything is missing.
1. Car Insurance documents for relevant 4 years (car insurance)
2. T4 's for relevant 4 years
3. Notice of Assessment for relevant 4 years
4. Apartment lease documents for relevant 4 years
5. Letter from employers covering relevant 4 year period
6. Health records from OHIP and MSP (BC as I lived there for 2 of these 4 years). Although I only visited doctor no more than once a year.
7. (not right away) Bank statements - I don't have them with me so I'd have to request them form my bank and I think they charge $10 per statement. So, this is going to be very expensive as both my wife and I'd have to request it. 4 years = 48 statements each. So, $960 for both of us (or less as some might be printable from bank website). So, I'll probably request them only if I do indeed get RQ. But all the documents I can get for free, I'll start collecting them right away.
8. CBSA and CBP records for entries/exits to Canada and USA.

This should be sufficient incase I do get RQ?

Hello -

So, I've collected a lot of documents in order to prepare for possible Post-Test RQ. I have letters from current and previous landlords confirming duration of my tenancy, Notice of Assessment for last 6 years, T4 for last 5 years, education records prior to that, car insurance document for last 5 years, letter from employer(s) confirming dates and duration of employment with each.

I don't have -
- Medical History - looks like it'd take 6 weeks to get it. I have sent request to OHIP (for Ontario) and BC MSP/Care Card.

- Bank statements - I'll order those when I do actually get RQ because it costs money to get those.

- CBSA and CBP entry/exit records - I've requested those. I am told that CBSA (that is, Canadian Border..) sends information in 4 to 6 weeks usually. But the USA (CBP) has a backlog of 6 months or so so I won't get anything from them for 6 months or so!

Hoping that I don't get any RQ but if I do, I'd be ready with all the documents!
