For Federal Skilled Worker Program, the work experience should be within how many years? Also, is only post-qualification work experience counted? Actually, I had done my Bachelors degree through distance learning mode and simultaneously worked full-time for five years. But, after my Bachelors degree (post-qualification), I have only one year of work experience. So, will my work experience while completing my Bachelors degree be counted? From what I have heard, while creating the Express Entry Profile, only the number of years of work experience is asked but post-qualification work experience isn't asked specifically. So, please clear my queries.

The experience needs to be within the past 10 years.

EE asks you "When did you become qualified to do this job?"
This does not strictly mean when did you finish your degree. If you were qualified to do the job before you completed your degree, then it's fine, and the work experience will still count.

Thanks for your reply. But then what does EE mean by "being qualified for the job"?
It means being qualified for the job.
If you have work experience in a job that you cannot do unless you have a Bachelor's degree, then you only become qualified for the job once you have that Bachelor's degree.
But if the job only requires a secondary certificate, then you became qualified once you finish secondary school, and your Bachelor's degree has no impact on it.

If you were doing your job before you had your degree, then presumably you were qualified to do the job without a degree. In which case, you can indicate in your EE profile that you became qualified when you started the job (or before).

Hi...

I have done B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in chemistry

My question is that as per my NOC (2112), the minimum education required to qualify for the profession (2112) is bachelors.

However, my first appointment was as a senior research fellow (ext.), for which minimum requirement is Ph.D. thesis submitted.

Now, what should I write under the tab, the date XXXXXX first became qualified to practice in this occupation.

Bachelors or my Ph.D. submission date????

Please help

Thanks
