Post PR approval - First Entry ( visa activation)

Hi ,

My partner and I have applied for a visa and we received our confirmation of PR. We have the visas issued and in our passports.

He is the primary applicant and I am the depending applicant.

I have a job offer to start sooner that my partner can leave to activate our visas together.

Is there any way I ( dependent ) could activate my visa for the job offer and once his notice period has been served he can enter after me and meet me there. ?

Please help.

No you can't arrive before he does.. best is to do a short landing for him and you together... Then you can stay in Canada and he returns home to finish his job
