According to citizenship law, the only requirement for it is that you physically present for 1095 days (3 years) in the previous 5 years before submitting the application & no character issues (committing crimes). Marriage is NOT part of citizenship applications!

It’s just automatic recording of you doing the test… and can be done at anytime during the test window

I tend to agree with this comment, and your former country where you fled from, you might still have nationality there (dual citizenship) - they can detain you as their own national, and Canada can NOT help you if detained in own country of citizenship… my advice is STRONGLY NOT recommend...

Current PR card is NOT a requirement for citizenship applications, BUT if you plan to travel in the meantime during the application, then it’s advisable to have it renewed to enable the travel plans for you

Bad advice for number 1 - whatever you do, DO NOT LIE to IRCC EVER! That’s fraud and misrepresentation, and could lead to criminal prosecution & deportation!

She only has to meet the requirement where she is present 2 of the 5 years at the time of renewing the PR card - after the first 5 years, it’s rolling 5 years - so she must be present for 2 out of 5 years at any given time when that renewal happens
