It is better to wait and see if they really need any additional proofs. Gather them up, but don't send them, it might delay your application!

Well one of the additionals is a re-issued Garda (Irish Police) clearance - i think it would be best to send that asap, no?

Also, if they have to ask me for stuff then by definition the application is already being delayed...

Oh yeah, the police clearance should be sent for sure. I'm not sure about additional proof though, they might be able to just attach it to your application if it's still in Mississauga, but if it's already being processed in London, I would leave it as it is... looking at your application picture.. do you really need to submit any more proofs of relationship? :-X

Just a note IA......I am assuming you are in Canada right now. If you have been in Canada longer than 6 months I suggest you get your fingerprints done and sent off to the RCMP in Ottawa.

CIC do not request this but it costs 35 dollars and they are there at Ottawa if CIC need them at all. Just an added something to help the application go smoothly.

I tried to post I did nt work for me, anywy my File same as yours original post, I hope the police officer does not get bored and put it on the side , because for him it is boring Emails and other stuff :) , or lets hope he Date so he ll find usufel information so he read it in one day ;D

Quite small since I'm single :P

No boxes, since I submitted in person at the embassy :)

Here's my app. Not very much and it all fit in an overnight envelope via Canada Post. It was probably about 1 1/2 pounds..

Our application weighed almost 4kg ;D

I love the new pictures! I think it's great to see applications of all shapes and sizes. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who used foldrers... for a second there I was nervous. ::)

Uh-oh.. I sent an additional copy of my fingerprints in case they needed to do a police check for Canada, as I'll be living here for 6 continuous months by next october, but I sent these fingerprints to CIC with my initial application. Should I make another copy again and send it to RCMP? :( Or do you think the visa office will send it to Ottawa when they need to?

mine was not even 1/4th the size of u guys no wonder it's taking forever for my case to get processed

What I really want to see is a graph comparing size of application to length of processing and eventual result, by visa office.

Thanks to everyone for posting your pics. One of the eternal questions here is how on earth to put everything together, and this shows us what to do.

In the immigrants guide to the application, doesn't it say to get police checks in countries that you've lived 6 months or longer, other than Canada. Canada does their own check anyway, so we don't have to have that done. My immigration consultant said that all we needed was the FBI check, and court documents if there were any convictions on it.
