Post Passport time line to and from London VO

Hi everyone!

I have just created this thread to gather information regarding the time it takes for the London vo to insert visa into the passport and send it back to you. So please post your experience on this subject. I sent mine off in 3th of August and it reached there today, how long do gus think its gonna take to get it back.?

Hey Yasiin,

Congratulations on almost finishing the process! unfortunately i can not comment on the timeline, as I am from a visa-exempt country, so the process is a bit different, I will ( hopefully) only hear from CIC London once they send the COPR. I think it is the case for a lot of applicants to VO London for family sponsorship.

but by answering - it will bump the thread at the beginning of the board and maybe somebody else can answer.

I wish you the best of luck in the very final stage, and I hope you get your passport back very quickly with all in order!

Thank you Sweden, I know if you could be of any help you would. I will just have to wait till i get it back. I was just trying to gather little info regarding the timeline. On the ppr letter it was stated that i should be without it for 6 weeks which i find it very long time. Let me hope for the best and not worry too much. Thank you again for trying to find out some insight on this matter.

Sorry, I can't help you out either but I was just curious, what country are you from?

I thought London only dealt with visa exempt countries when it came to family class sponsorships.
(Channel Islands, Denmark, England, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Wales)
All of which, I was under the impression that were visa exempt. (My boyfriend's application was sent inland in February, but we had originally planned to do it outland and London would have been his office had we not changed our minds last minute)

Anyway, sorry again that I couldn't help, but hopefully my curiosity will "bump" the thread and someone who knows can reply

Not everyone is a citizen of the countries that London processes you know, and a lot are not visitor visa exempt

Its been almost 4 weeks since the London has requested and received my passport as i am not from a visa except countries. I have sent an inquiry asking if they have posted it. They have not replied on my inquiry. Does anyone have an idea as to how long it takes to get the passport back with the visa.? anyone one who has had an experience on this matters.
