Hi everyone,

I got my ready for visa email on Friday, Feb 26th.
So glad to have finally received this much awaited email.

Please guide if I should land at US Border (niagara) if I do not have a valid US visa?
Or would you recommend booking appointment with inland landing office?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am 20th October 2014 applicant. AOR 19th Feb 2015. Never got any document requests. Did medical upfront in December and paid RPRF on 18th January 2016 ( as a result of error email). I just got my passport request.
My NOC is 1112.

Also, is it strange that they haven't asked for any pictures. Instead they have just asked for the passport. Are there any other documents that I should be including in the package ?

Since I have also applied through express entry, please advise on when and if I should withdraw my express entry application.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone on this forum for their help.

I just received Ready For Visa (PPR) email. Finally.
I am 25th Aug applicant AOR:31th Dec.

Oct 2016 applicant received PPR today and Ecas status changed to decision
Made.

I wish and pray everyone else get this soon.

Those who have seen some positive movement on their files and still awaiting a MR pls give upfront medical a thought!

Sep 22 applicant, received my MR on Feb 26.

Got my PPR today morning. Status in ECAS changed to DM. Have to get my passport renewed now because it is expiring in June and CIC accepts at least a 6 months validity passport.

My timeline:

App date: 15th August, 2014
AOR: 4th December, 2014
MR: 14th Jan, 2016
Medicals Received: 2nd Feb, 2016
RPRF upfront: 15th Feb, 2016
PPR: 29th Feb, 2016

Wowwwwwww....just receive the "Ready for Visa" email, minutes after I send an email to CPC asking for acknowledgement of receipt...
