I just received my MR today, exactly 17 months to the day that my CEC application was first received by CIC. Still can't quite believe it. Hang in there everyone, looks like things are really moving this time.

Hi Guys...I am August 18th Applicant..just received Medical for my Spouse (while I am Primary applicant), nothing has come for me though...

I still don't have MR for myself, just my husband. I emailed CIC this morning asking if they had sent it to resend.

Husband has his medical booked for Monday, I will wait until I get MR to do mine. I really hope the end is near.

Finally i got an update from CEC , i got MR but the thing is I got upfront medical done (as part of my new Workpermit apllication) less than 4 months ago and sent the same to CEC mail ID and got acknowledgement that they have received it .Should i mail them and explain this or go for medicals again
BTW i am august 15th applicant

Hi All, I have received my medical request on Friday, January 15th . Actually my representative received it on Friday morning.. .. but just forwarded the email to me.

Seems applications are moving finally at a slow pace...

I know this is July applicant but it is interesting that just one week after they received MR they made decision.
