Post office account as proof of fund

As long as they can provide you with a statement, post office should be no problem at all. Doesnt really matter where you have the funds, as long as you have a way of proving that you have them.

I transfered the money into a bank account and provided proper loe for all the details for both the post office account and the new bank account

Any particular reason why you have transferred the funds to bank account.? are funds from post office not accepted? I am in a similar situation with all my funds in post office term deposits and savings. Pls share your inputs on how the letter of explanation as well if i have to follow the same approach.
