Post medical re-assessment time

That was good thing to do to save some of them. lol. I have yet to hear back anything since i submitted the additional medicals, only a chest xray, they requested for so i am waiting to get some in the next week or at the end of this month. Don't worry too much you will be contacted next week too because i think you are lunch since additional medicals have not been asked for. The next thing you will get soon is the ppr in the post. Fingers crossed for both of us.. The IO normally assigns a bring forward date for 30 days in a situations like ours when s/he contacts you for more information to be submitted to them. I guess you are looking around one month which has already finished..

Oh but Yasiin PPR was already asked for back on may 16th.. and then the phone call from the VO stating request for medical extension was being submitted that was june 7th.. As of right now Ottawa has no idea about anything, Detroit has not updated our file since before april..

Oh ok then your passport with visa on it is on its way right now and u will get it next week. I understand how sad you are about the officer saying it would take three weeks but you should consider the delay of the post because when he requested for the medical extension that would probably take minimum two to three weeks and then two weeks for the visa to be issued and attached to the pp. I know that it's hard waiting for the last touch but probably this thing will be over soon. Let me know how it goes.

Hey guys, my MP office called this morning, Ottawa has no update on my file since before April 2012. So they have no idea about all that has happened since then.. However my mp said that Ottawa is going to call Detroit and tell them to update the process.. My MP said will call me as soon as CIC calls them back. Its going on 5wks now for the medical extension, that was supposed to be 2-3.. : .. so I wait to hear something, will pop back in when I do. so tired of all this Good luck to all.

You are right. Hope we get letters or calls that put a smile on our faces in this week. We've been very patient for a long time and it seems like we are loosing it. I wanted to contact London today by email but then i thought like if i contact them it may delay the whole process again and i did not contact them. It is getting into my nerve now.. Fingers crossed for everything. We should stay positive..

MP office called back today, they said that it shows PP has be viewed and that medical extension request was submitted but nothing else or where it stands now. We are at the 6week mark, double the time we were told by the IO. Any one here have news?

Hi Lasiar, its the same with me. I sent an inquiry a week ago telling them i submitted the additional medical examination two weeks ago and i also requested to see if they could process it a little quicker. I got response in two days. They told me to check back with them in two weeks if i have not heard from them and that the additional medical is likely with the medical section awaiting for final review. Hope they will process it faster as i am about to loose patience soon. I just checked other forum and people are already receiving visas in 5 months time, am happy for them but I am also asking myself right now, is there a bias in the system?

Hi Yasiin I too read about visa's in 5 months and like you happy for them but I'm like what is the problem here? its frustrating to say the least when we are this close to done and still we wait with no real date of finalization. thanks for your update, I'll be back as soon as I hear something more. so for now we must endure this endless waiting. Though, 7 weeks its amazinly long... :-\, I wouldn't not like to wait for so long, after more than a year since my application was recived by Mississagua.

I just had one a vacation,(June) a whole month in Italy with hubby ;D.
