POST MEDICAL APPLICANTS - Waiting for VISA

Hi friend, my post is based on my personal experienced. The letter I received required a 12 month passport validity. I am not sure it that applies to all. Even my consultant was surprised by that. By the way I am from the Philppines.

But how come,you did medicals now, then how can visa expire? that's strange

medicals done in august and she has issued a mail to submit the passport at VFS and asked me to be in canada by 10th of september 2018

No I haven't ! If I had received my PPR I would not have been confused about this

Seems like 6 months validity is sufficient.

Good news! Got our visa and CoPR today after 3 working days feom submission of passport!

Than 16 august ask for provide Copy of new passport because my passport going to expire in November. I submitted on 24 August. Any idea how long take time for golden mail.because my work permit going to expire next month .please recommend us

Hi I am also waiting I did my medical in May, pass my medical in June 22 and pre invitation July 06, still waiting on passport request,

what's your case like? are you applying within Canada? AINP?
