I checked my GCkey today, it continue to show that we are processing your application and background check is in progress.

The ECAS says Decision Made but last update is Medical results has been received.

Did the above changed for anyone who has submitted their passports for visa stamping.

Resolved!!

Before I share my idea please remember that Google Chrome is one of the 'Officially Listed' browsers on the IRCC website

What browser should I use to apply for a visa online?
Due to recent upgrades, you may not be able to access your account with older web browsers (such as Internet Explorer 6). To prevent these difficulties, upgrade your browser to the newest version.

To keep your information secure and confidential when using your account, use a browser that supports encryption using Transport Layer Security (TLS). These include:

  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Internet explorer 7-1

All my applications have been made in Chrome and I never found any issues until 8th March 2018 when I couldn't view the message on GCkey. After many deliberations and attempting suggestions posted here and elsewhere I gave up. But today I had a hunch and I tried Internet Explorer (I hardly ever use that!) Initially it didn't even move beyond the GCkey link. I found that we need to have TLS encryption enabled, now this was enabled already but not for earlier versions.

So go to Internet Options and select Advance Tab under the category of Security you would find all versions of TLS and SSL listed, Check them all as we also need older versions to work with our new browsers. Then Apply and Exit.

Reboot IE and Viola! I could read my message in IE !!!

As expected since so many others had pointed out , they had asked me for RPRF Receipt, which I promptly sent.

Here's another link for reading messages

IRCC has asked me for a new document. How do I submit it?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1310&top=23

So in the end AAl Izz Well !!

I have again checked in Chrome it is not working don't know why although I even updated the browser and cleared all cache, history, geography etc..

Now waiting for BGIP...

Cheers!
