Hello,

I am anticipating an ITA in the next draw or two and wondering what sections (I read total 7 sections) are required to be filled before uploading the documents? If someone who recently accepted an ITA can list the sections here with the time frame the details are requested for (10 years back or since 18 etc.), I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

They will request you to complete filling some personal details as eye colour and height, then fill personal history
which is everything you did (jobs, organizations, travels, unemployment gaps, or education) in the last 10 years or since 18 if you're younger than 28.

after filling the forms you can go forward to the document upload part.

All info you put in personal history doesn't need document proofs, for example a job you didn't list on your profile to claim points for, you have to mention it in personal history but you dont need to provide a ref letter for it.

Except travels last 10 years, you have to upload these passports and all stamps on them.

+1 for you. Thanks for replying. I am missing stamps for couple of entries back in Canada as I drove from US. Will that affect my application?

That's interesting topic, so are there any gaps allowed for past 10 years ? I mean i don't recall all the information for past 10 years, can i just put in the gap(vacation or travel )?

Dont quote me on this as I haven't reached that stage yet but I read somewhere on this forum that you will not be allowed to leave any time gap (system wont let you save it).. if you were not doing anything/or you dont remember then simply put vacation or unemployed for that period.

Anyone who has been through this process can shed some light here!

You have to remember them and accurately, as for travels the dates are on passport stamps
as for jobs/education/organizations/military service..etc you probably have documents for them with dates, no need for days of the months, just the months

for any gap you put travel in, they have to go along with your travel history of course, they'll find it suspicious if there's like 4 months with no activity or travel in the middle.. And for all gaps that aren't travel or work you can just state "unemployment"

I'm post ITA now, yet to upload documents, so if you need any further help do let me know or go the to "ready reference" thread

One question : after filling this forms, I will get a personal checklist to upload documents. But can I edit these forms while uploading documents or these forms would be locked? (PS : before submitting for PR)

Well, as I said before they are not on my passport especially the ones when I entered Canada from USA via road. I already requested my CBSA report for travel history and the representative mentioned it is completely normal as agents "dont care" to stamp when you travel via road. Luckily, I am getting my report by next week and I hope the record is present on it. He also mentioned that IRCC sometimes contact them for the same report. I might just upload it with a LOE for missing stamps. Save them some time...

IIRC, it's in the Contact details.

Sounds like a good idea.

No gaps in Personal History, you can either mention the gaps as unemployed or whatever other option describes the gap the best.
