I got ITA today
In the questionnaire to apply it asks about my first kid and says is your first child included in this application? I am divorced and my kid with my ex wife and will not come with me
What should say
Yes
No

I mentioned his name relation to me (biological) but I think I should say no
As in the kid form if I say yes automatically means accompanying

Your child must be included on the application and undergo the medical even if not accompanying. You are divorced so don’t need to include spouse.

That is okay if child doesn’t plan to accompany you but child must undergo and pass medical.

What if no communication and the child with my ex wife and didn't see him for a year
No custody paper, but only divorce certificate how can I do medicals then?

You have to declare the child and then prove that your wife refuses to have child undergo the medical. So show proof of correspondence. Your PR application will not be approved until IRCC agrees that child can not do the medical. Then you can never sponsor your child.

I heard I need an affidavit to say I understand the consequences of not getting my kid's medicals. is there a specific form of affidavit or it is in your own words?
