Yes. You're allowed to upload only 1 document per placeholder. Multiple pages in a single pdf (size not exceeding 4 Mb) is the way to go.
Hi Asvaid,

You mentioned file size not exceeding 4 MB.

Is this mentioned anywhere.

My POF PDF file is 30 MB :-X

Yes. I imagine that limitation is mentioned in your personalized checklist as well. You will have to reduce the size by compressing the files (look for an online tool like cutepdf) and removing unnecessary documentation.

Ok Many thanks Asvaid.

One more question, please.

I worked for a company back in 2007 for a year which is no longer operational.

I do have an experience letter dated May 2011 from this company which has all the required information.

But the contact information the address website emails are no longer exist.

My question is what are the chances that they call and verify from each and every company that I have worked for. In my case there are 5.

I guess to be on the safe side I should add a note in the LOE about this company

Yes. Add an LOE for sure.

You don't need this experience for your CRS score because that maxes out at 3+ years. Are you including this experience for FSW eligibility points? If you can get to 67/100 without this work experience, the best option would be to leave it out from work history altogether.

Thank you again Asivad.

I was reading up on another thread where someone mentioned that the experience letters should have specific words such as permanent, full time etc.

All of my letters have 'full time' (40+ hours week) employee but none of them say permanent employee.

In fact my current job which I believe is crucial I am not even a permanent employee I am a contractual consultant.

Does that make a difference.

Really need your expert advice on this.

That requirement is only for an LMIA supported job offer. Doesn't apply to work reference letters.

Not a problem. You do not have to tell CIC about your loans, CIC doesn't allow you to showcase all your assets. Just the certificate mentioning availability of enough funds to act as POF will do.
From my application:
"Document: Proof of Means of Financial Support.
Express Entry – Permanent Residents

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

  • list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
  • list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
  • be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).
umber and e-mail address)."
So I guess they are asking about all assets and liabilities.

Michal,

If you want all the details to be added on your bank letter, you are most welcome to do that. Its just that it is not required. You can get a bank letter that shows enough Proof of Funds. If you have your PoF in a FD account, then a FD Certificate is sufficient. But if you want to show your entire financial history, you can do it. No problem. Just make sure your assets-liabilities >= $11,931 CAD. Good luck!

What do you mean by "it is just not required"? It is specifically stated both on my application and in the guide on CIC website. I am far from providing all the info in the world about myself, but I also want to provide as much info as I am being asked to comply with the CIC requirements.

No.

If someone took a loan to buy a house/vehicle/jewelry/stock, they would be only able to showcase the loan here. Not the value of their assets. Which will make then ineligible.

It is important to understand what CIC needs from the applicant. They want the applicant to have sufficient funds available (without being borrowed) so that the applicant (and their family) is not a burden on the system immediately after arriving and is able to sustain for the greater part of a year while settling down in a new country.

If you have the required monies and can get that in a bank certificate/statement, that would suffice.

Hi Friends I'm new to this forum. Firstly I'm a mechanical engineer with 2 years of full time experience. I have received my ECA report and waiting eagerly for my IELTS exam date. i had a few questions:
1. What is the process after we enter into the pool?
2. After getting an ITA do we choose the province or the Canada itself allocates us the provinces?
3. I'm getting 400+ points without IELTS. So what all i got to do to make my score above 450 mark?
TIA

Try and improve your score where possible and wait for an ITA.

2. After getting an ITA do we choose the province or the Canada itself allocates us the provinces?

You are allowed to live and work anywhere in Canada after you get your PR status.

Not possible. IELTS score adds up to 136 points to your profile if you are a single applicant and another 100 points depend on IELTS in Skills Transferability. As you are waiting for IELTS date, prepare hard and try to score at least CLB 9 (8 in L and 7 in R/W/S). That will get you a fighting score.
