What are the implications and consiquences of this "unauthorized" work on my PGWP application result? What can I do to rectify this?
Thanks.

How long have you worked unauthorized.

50/50 chance. Don't worry as you can't do anything now. You may get through as I have seen similar case getting pgwp. All the best

I've seen, in other posts here, some suggestions about "application withdrawal" plus "flagpoling".
Is that recommended/feasible in my case? Thanks.

See you can be caught out anywhere. If it worked for someone else, doesn't mean it would replicate in your case

I explained my case to Service Canada yesterday. They verified my study permit and told me not to worry because R186(W) applies to my case.
I also checked with a lawyer @ CanadaVisa and I was told the same thing.

Your case is really not much to worry about. I got my permit approved with more than a month of unauthorized work

your post indirectly encourages people to break the law...
Oops I didn’t mean it that way. I wrote loe explaining my case to the officer. Should’ve been clear. My bad!

For whomever in the situation of unauthorized work, I think it’s best to be honest so you don’t have to worry about any misrepresentation in the future.

@jase3708
Hi.. What does "loe" mean? I'd appreciate if you can tell me what your situation was and how you managed to overcome it and convince the officer to grant you the PGWP. Thank you.

I finished my study on september 7 2018 and got a noc B job on sep 17 and i started working full time immediately. My visa was expiring on nov 3rd so someone suggested to go for flagpoling for applying pgwp. By the time i went for flagpoling, i already worked for full time for a month in that new job. Cbsa said that i did authorized work and she refused my pgwp and barred me from applying for 6 months.

hi I have similar kind of situation what happened with you if you can reply it would be very helpful

Hi,
I wanted to apply for PGWP and I am stuck on the Employment and job offer section.

College last date : Dec 13, 2019
Last date of Co-op: Dec 20,2019
Job offer : Dec 23,2019
Date of receiving my transcripts :Jan 3,2020

Following are my concerns:

1.From Dec 15 to Dec 20 I have worked as per my Co-op, will it be considered as unauthorized work.

2.I worked on Dec 23 and 24 and Jan 2 and 3 which comes under part time ,since I didn't work more than 20 hours

3.I am confused on the details to be be filled in job offer and Employment details in PGWP work permit application.

Any suggestions pls?

1. If its part of a coop and you had a coop work permit, it is authorized work. I worked for 3 months on a coop. When you say college last date, does this include your coop? College usually doesn't officially finish until after your coop if finished.

I have a similar situation and I'm worried as well
Co-op ended on 23rd August
I was supposed to graduate but my supervisor screwed me over and I was able to graduate only by 31st October.
My work started on 23rd September in the same organization I did my Co-op.
I applied for PGWP only by 23rd November as my university provided me with all the required documents only by then. I was under the assumption that my Co-op work permit is enough for get me going as it had a validity until 31st December. I've understood that Co-op work permit couldn't be used after my Co-op. I'm really worried about the work done without a proper visa.

Why did it have validity until December if your co-op ended August? You can only work full-time on implied status if you have applied for the PGWP, unless the rules have changed since I got my PGWP.
