Did anyone applied PGWP with spouse visitor extension in April and get result or waiting for result..? please share info.

Applied for my PGWP and SOWP (new not extension) together on May 13th. PGWP was approved on June 1st but no update on SOWP.

Studied 2 years but got 1 year PGWP.
zam7, was your ONE study program for 2 years? Or you combine 2 by 1 year?

Our case : applied for PGWP and SP extension for a kid on May 14th. Decision was made on June 1, papers in mail.

Guys , I have a question. How does PGWP look? How do you actually get it in your passport?

@regina I studied two separate 1 year programs and attached all my docs in one PDF file. I had also written a separate LOE with all clear details, but I don't think they read any of it. The agent only saw the first page and hadn't scrolled down. When I told her its all together she scrolled down and said OK. She said a note has been made for the officer and will take up to 3 months, for a decision to be made. Additionally she said, 'meanwhile use your 1 year permit till you hear back'. Most of my friends faced the same situation and received the corrected permit in 3 months time. I hope the process is quicker now!

I feel the application for 1+1 students should have 2 separate slots to upload documents to make it easier for both the applicant as well as the immigration officer!

Quiet common issue nowadays, the funny part is that not everyone is getting one year, some of us who have done two separate one year programs are getting 3 years.

I had the same issue, studied 2 separate 1 year programs and got 1 year PGWP , called in complained and it was fixed in 3 months.

Letter AND Transcript

To those who received the permits, can you tell me when is your study permit expired and the date of issue for the PGWP permit? I am just curious whether or not it will continue from the day you apply and or the day you received or the day the study permit expires

From the day the permit is approved and issued. It will be independent of any of the other dates, doesn't matter when you applied, doesn't matter when your study permit expired.

There's one question on the PGWP Application form about the most recent entry to Canada. What if I just crossed the border by car, do I have to declare that?

Hello,
I have been accepted to McGill IMHL I.e. International master in health leadership.
The International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL) is a 15-month program of five 12-day modules, plus a master’s paper, leading to the degree of Master of Management.

Today ,I heard that it is equivalent to 6 months study and I won't be able to apply PGWP after graduating ?

What should I do?
Plz advice
