Post graduation work permit...duration

Hi All,
need an answer from some experienced people.I am joining Vancouver island University's M.A program.The duration of my studies is 16 months, so was just wondering what would be the duration of the post graduation work permit after the completion of the course.
will it be 16 months..or 3 years?

hi from what i have heard from my friends who are studying there is that it is the same as the duration of your course....so yup another 16 mths
